TAX PREPARATION

Businesses, income and
obligations, filed as one.

EBMG prepares business returns and related owner filings for established business owners whose tax lives require more coordination than a basic return.

WHAT WE COORDINATE

A complicated year still needs an orderly finish.

Business ownership can create multiple entities, income sources, jurisdictions, and filing obligations. Preparation should connect those pieces before anything is submitted.

BUSINESS RETURNS

Start with the entities behind the income.

Identify the businesses involved and prepare the returns required by their activity.

OWNER RETURNS

Connect the business back to the owner.

Coordinate the related individual filings of qualifying EBMG business-owner clients.

MULTI-STATE FILINGS

Account for where activity occurred.

Identify filing considerations created when business operations or income cross state lines.

WHAT YOU GAIN

More organization. Fewer unanswered questions.

ORGANIZED

Know what belongs in the process.

Receive clear guidance about the documents and information required for the engagement.

INFORMED

Know what is being filed.

Review significant items and questions before the returns are authorized.

PREPARED

Carry useful context forward.

Maintain an organized filing history so recurring entities, issues, and prior-year decisions do not have to be reconstructed every tax season.

WHO WE SERVE

Tax preparation for established business owners.

EBMG serves business owners generating at least $500,000 in annual revenue. Our preparation work is particularly suited to owners with multiple entities, partnership interests, several sources of income, multi-state activity, or other business-related filing complexity.

ENTERTAINERS

Artist-owned businesses with royalties, touring, intellectual property income, business entities, and other commercial activity.

ATHLETES

Athlete-owned businesses with salary, endorsements, ventures, investments, and multi-state filing considerations.

MED SPA OWNERS

Med spa owners whose growing operations, entities, equipment, payroll, and expansion create increasingly complex returns.

PRIVATE PRACTICE PHYSICIANS

Physician owners whose professional income and business ownership must be coordinated within the filing process.

WHEN DETAILS CARRY FORWARD

The quality of the return depends on the information behind it.

Artists

Three years of returns that did not agree

A songwriter last three returns reported royalty income three different ways. Filing the current year meant first settling what the prior ones had said.

Athletes

Eleven states and one return

A season touched eleven states and the return reported one. The nonresident filings were not optional, and the resident credit was never claimed.

Medical Professionals

The K-1 that arrived in September

A physician extended her return four years running, waiting on partnership documents nobody was chasing. The fix was a calendar, not a strategy.
